I understand what it takes to run a small business because I have been a business owner since I was 16 years old. I began when my instructor handed me the keys to his martial art school and told me that it was mine. Like a scene out of some Saturday morning Kung Fu show, he then said, "lets see what you can do with it." For the next two years I made it work growing enrollment and even at times making a profit, but later decided that I no longer wanted the responsibility. I then starting a full time Landscape Construction Company to make a living, but continued training in the martial arts simultaneously. Since then I have had many business ranging from Tile Setting, Landscaping, Painting, Jewelery Sales and Party Planning, Music Business (performing musician), Martial Arts Studio's, Retail Store Sales and Consulting.
